TAMPA, FL – A woman was killed when she struck a tree on Veterans Expressway Friday evening.
According to the Tampa Bay Times , the fatal crash happened on northbound Veterans Expressway near Hutchison Road around 10:45 p.m. The driver lost control of the car and ran into a tree after crossing the median.
She was pronounced dead at the crash scene.
No other vehicles were involved in the incident.
