
LAKELAND, FL – Police say a young woman was killed after losing control of her car in Lakeland last week.
According to WFLA, 19-year-old Madison Ebie was driving a 2004 Acura on Sikes Boulevard when the accident occurred Thursday night at about 7 p.m.
Investigators said she was driving north when the car went off the road and crashed down an embankment. Rescue crews responded to try to save her, but Ebie was pronounced dead at the scene.
Anyone with information about the crash was asked to contact Lakeland Police.
