LAND O’ LAKES, FL – A collision between two vehicles in Land O’ Lakes left both drivers seriously injured, state troopers said.
According to The Suncoast News , a single-unit truck and a pickup truck were involved in the crash Tuesday morning at the intersection of State Road 54 and Oak Grove Boulevard.
The Florida Highway Patrol said the single-unit truck was under a red light when it went into the intersection at about 5:41 a.m. and entered the path of the pickup. Both vehicles overturned from the impact of the crash.
The injured drivers, a 30-year-old man from Holiday and a 39-year-old man from New Port Richey, were taken to an area hospital. Both were reportedly wearing their seat belts.
