NORTH PORT, FL – Authorities identified the two victims of a motorcycle crash in Sarasota County Saturday evening, WWSB reports.
This is an update to a previous story.
The people killed were the driver of the BMW motorcycle, 30-year-old Cody Bunch, and a passenger, 26-year-old Jenny Lenzini, who was a TV news reporter in Southwest Florida. Bunch died at the scene, while Lenzini was pronounced dead later at a hospital.
They were on a motorcycle that crashed into a tree off of Plantation Boulevard and Panacea Boulevard in North Port. Police said both victims were wearing their helmets at the time. Investigators are continuing to look into the cause of the crash.
