4 hospitalized after crash on McMullen Booth Road in Clearwater

CLEARWATER, FL – Authorities in Clearwater were on the scene of a crash Thursday morning that sent four people to the hospital, Fox 13 News reported.

The accident happened on McMullen Booth Road near State Road 580 at about 11 a.m. Clearwater Fire and Rescue said the four injured victims were rushed to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa. One of them suffered injuries that were described as life-threatening.

The southbound lanes of McMullen Booth Road were shut down in the area of the crash while crews responded. There was no impact on the northbound lanes.

No details were immediately released on what led to the incident.
