
LARGO, FL – An accident that killed a bicyclist in Largo over the weekend is under investigation by police, WTSP reports.
Officers responded to the scene in the vicinity of 66th Street N. near Ulmerton Road Saturday at about 9 p.m. Police said the bicyclist was struck by a car going north in the right lane, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to investigators, the victim was riding in an area that was not illuminated, and the bicycle did not have lights.
Anyone with information regarding the incident was asked to contact Largo Police.
