PINELLAS PARK, FL – A 36-year-old bicycle rider was hospitalized following a crash in Pinellas Park, according to WFLA.
The incident happened Monday morning on Bryan Dairy Road near U.S. 19 at about 6:45 a.m. Police said a bicyclist was riding west on Bryan Dairy Road when she entered the path of a Dodge Durango and was struck by the vehicle.
The bicycle rider, identified as Kandice Hamel of Bradenton, was thrown from the bike. She was listed in critical condition after being taken to a nearby hospital.
