
PASCO COUNTY, FL – State troopers were at the scene of a fatal accident involving a car and a motorcycle in Pasco County Saturday night, reports the Tampa Bay Times.
The crash happened on State Road 54 near Cattle Ranch Way. The Florida Highway Patrol said a motorcyclist was going east on State Road 54 when a car failed to yield and pulled into his path from a stop sign.
The motorcycle rider, a 62-year-old man from New Port Richey, was pronounced dead after being taken to an area hospital. The driver of the car was not hurt. She was a 30-year-old woman from Holiday.
