
PINELLAS PARK, FL – A driver fatally struck a pedestrian at 66th St N and 65th Ave N Sunday, according to WTSP.
A 73-year-old driver was driving east when she struck a 71-year-old male pedestrian who had stepped off the sidewalk and into the path of her vehicle.
First responders were dispatched to the crash around 6:15 p.m. They transported the victim to an area hospital, where he later died.
Police do not believe speed or impairment were factors in the incident.
