News: Hit-and-run driver strikes, injures bicyclist in Dover

DOVER, FL – According to WFLA, a hit-and-run driver collided with a bicyclist at Sydney Dover Rd and Dover Ranch Rd Saturday.

The driver of a small, dark-colored pickup truck hit the bicyclist around 9:15 p.m.

Rescue crews transported the victim to an area hospital with trauma to their upper body.

Authorities urge anyone with information concerning the incident to contact the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.
