LARGO, FL – Authorities have released the name of the impaired driver who crashed into a motorcycle and injured its two riders on Seminole Blvd and SE 8th Ave Monday.
According to WFLA, Kevin Cox, 67, was driving a red Toyota Tacoma when he collided with the motorcycle. The impact ejected its two riders.
First responders were called to the scene around 5:42 p.m. They transported the two victims to an area hospital. One of the victims suffered 12 broken ribs and the other suffered a fractured pelvis.
Police charged Cox with multiple DUI charges in connection with the collision. His BAC was .308, nearly four times the legal limit of .08.
