
BRADENTON, FL – A collision in Manatee County Wednesday afternoon left a teenage motorcyclist dead, according to WWSB.
The victim was a 17-year-old boy who was riding a motorcycle in the area of Hawaiian Drive and 63rd Avenue West, the Florida Highway Patrol said. As the driver of a Nissan Versa was trying to make a turn at the intersection, the teenager was not able to stop and his motorcycle crashed into the car.
The boy was pronounced dead at the scene. The FHP’s Traffic Homicide Unit is investigating the crash.
