PASCO COUNTY, FL – A pedestrian crossing a road in Pasco County was struck and killed by a vehicle Wednesday night, the Tampa Bay Times reports.
The victim was walking across State Road 56 east of Ancient Oaks Boulevard when he was hit by an eastbound pickup truck at about 8 p.m., according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The pedestrian was a 40-year-old man from Wesley Chapel who died at the scene. His name has not been released.
The pickup involved was driven by a 50-year-old Zephyrhills man.
