TAMPA, FL – A driver was killed in a rear-end collision on I-4 near 50th St Wednesday, WTSP reports.
According to troopers, the driver of an Audi R8 was driving at excessive speeds when they hit the rear of a Toyota Camry.
The impact caused the Camry to spin out and catch fire. The Audi was sent into the guardrail and came to rest on the outside shoulder.
The two occupants of the Camry suffered fatal injuries in the crash.
First responders transported a man and two women from the Audi to an area hospital around 1:42 a.m. No updates regarding their conditions are available at this time.
