
CLEARWATER, FL – A fatal DUI collision took one life and injured another on Bayshore Blvd near Thursday night, Fox 13 reports.
Winston B. Norman, 32, was driving a Volkswagen at excessive speeds when he went off-road and into multiple trees.
First responders were called to the scene of the car crash around 10:30 p.m. They transported a 33-year-old man to Bayfront Health, where they were later released. The fatality was a 42-year-old man. It is unclear if he died at the scene or the hospital.
The police arrested Norman and charged him with driving with a suspended or revoked license, DUI manslaughter, and vehicular homicide. Norman had a previous DUI arrest in November 2020. He pleaded guilty to that offense this March.
