
SPRING HILL, FL – The Florida Highway Patrol said a collision between two vehicles in Spring Hill left one driver dead and another injured.
According to The Suncoast News, the accident happened Saturday in the area of Spring Hill Drive and Barclay Avenue shortly before 5 a.m.
Investigators said a 66-year-old Spring Hill woman was driving a sedan while a 31-year-old Brooksville man was driving a sedan as both vehicles entered the intersection. The vehicles collided and both crashed into a concrete median before coming to rest.
The woman was pronounced dead at an area hospital while the man was reported to have been seriously injured. It was not clear what the traffic signals were at the intersection at the time of the crash.
