MANATEE COUNTY, FL – A multi-vehicle collision in Manatee County last week left two of the drivers seriously injured, according to WWSB.
The incident occurred Thursday on University Parkway near Tuttle Avenue. The Florida Highway Patrol said a 62-year-old man lost control of his vehicle, crossed the median and crashed into a pickup truck. The impact of the collision caused the pickup to hit a sedan, which then collided with another pickup truck.
The driver of the first vehicle, a Bradenton resident, and the driver of the first pickup truck, a 43-year-old Bradenton man, were seriously hurt and transported to an area hospital. No other injuries were reported in the crash.
