TAMPA, FL – A man riding an electric scooter was killed when he fell and was struck by a vehicle in Tampa on Sunday.
According to the Tampa Bay Times, the victim was attempting to cross a concrete median near the intersection of 51st Avenue and 66th Street when he fell off the scooter.
The 23-year-old man was then struck by a passing vehicle. The driver continued down the road without stopping.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
