PALM HARBOR, FL – Three people were hurt in a crash involving three vehicles at an intersection in Palm Harbor on Sunday afternoon, reports The Suncoast News.
State troopers responded to the scene in the area of Alternate 19 and Nebraska Avenue at about 12:25 p.m. The Florida Highway Patrol said an 80-year-old Dunedin woman was driving an SUV west on Nebraska Avenue when she turned into the path of a pickup truck. The vehicles collided, and the impact sent the pickup crashing into a sedan, which then ended up underneath the pickup.
The driver of the SUV, the 23-year-old driver of the sedan and a passenger in the sedan all sustained minor injuries in the accident. The driver of the pickup, a 20-year-old Ozona man, was not hurt.
