CLEARWATER, FL – Police say they have arrested a man who allegedly left the scene after a crash that injured a motorcyclist in Clearwater Saturday.
According to the Tampa Bay Reporter , 36-year-old Darrell Domonick Thomas is facing several charges in the case. The incident happened in the area of Eldridge Street and Pennsylvania Avenue at about 3:40 p.m.
A man who was driving a three-wheeled motorcycle was seriously injured and taken to an area hospital. Investigators said Thomas took off following the accident and parked his car on another street in Clearwater.
Thomas is charged with driving under the influence, leaving the scene of a crash involving injury, and driving with a suspended or revoked license.
