
SPRING HILL, FL – According to the Tampa Bay Times, a pickup truck driver fatally collided with a 55-year-old bicyclist Friday night.
The driver, a 37-year-old, was on northbound Shoal Line Blvd near Cortez Blvd when he ran over the cyclist. The bicyclist was not wearing a helmet and was pronounced dead at the scene. The time the accident took place is unclear.
Florida Highway Patrol has not yet released the names of the victim or the pickup truck driver.
