BRADENTON, FL – A collision between two vehicles at an intersection in Bradenton left one person dead and another injured, according to WWSB.
The Florida Highway Patrol released details of Sunday night’s incident in the vicinity of 27th Street East and 4th Avenue East. The FHP said both vehicles were approaching the intersection at around the same time just after 11 p.m. A 37-year-old Bradenton man was driving an SUV when it crashed into the right side of a sedan going west on 4th Avenue East. Both vehicles went off the road, with the sedan slamming into a chain link fence.
A 64-year-old Palmetto man who was a passenger in the sedan was pronounced dead at an area hospital. The driver of the sedan, a 60-year-old Palmetto woman, was seriously injured. The SUV driver was not hurt.
