PASCO COUNTY, FL – A collision between two vehicles in Pasco County left both drivers dead, according to the Tampa Bay Times.

The accident happened early Sunday morning in the area of Eiland Boulevard and Skipper Lane near Zephyrhills. The Florida Highway Patrol said a 19-year-old man was driving a sport utility vehicle west on Eiland Boulevard at about 6:50 a.m. when he crossed into the eastbound lane and crashed into an oncoming car nearly head-on. The impact caused the SUV to overturn and the driver, a Zephyrhills resident, was pronounced dead at an area hospital.

The car struck a mailbox after the collision and ended up on the shoulder of the roadway. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. She was a 65-year-old woman from Williamstown, New York.
