HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL – A crash involving a Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Deputy left one person injured and affected traffic Monday morning, according to WTSP.
The incident involving three cars occurred in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 4 near Branch Forbes Road at about 7 a.m. , and left one of the drivers with minor injuries. The deputy’s pickup overturned, but the deputy was not injured.
The accident caused extensive delays on I-4 in both directions near the scene, and drivers were advised to take U.S. 92 as an alternate route.
