ST. PETERSBURG, FL – State troopers responded to a crash that pushed a sport utility vehicle to the edge of a bridge in St. Petersburg Monday night
WTSP reported the vehicle was involved in a collision with a sedan as both were heading south on the Sunshine Skyway Bridge. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the SUV had stopped for merging traffic approaching a construction zone. The sedan did not stop and crashed into the SUV, sending it onto a barrier wall where it was left partially dangling over the water.
No injuries were reported in the accident, which shut down the southbound lanes on Interstate 275 to Manatee County.
