SARASOTA, FL – A crash on Interstate 75 south in Sarasota caused extensive traffic delays during Friday morning’s rush hour, WWSB reports.
The accident happened between Bee Ridge Road and Proctor Road sometime before 8 a.m. Injuries were reported, but there were no immediate details available on who was hurt.
Fox 13 Traffic tweeted that two lanes were blocked as a result of the crash, and southbound traffic was backed up from University Parkway to Proctor Road.
