
ST. PETE BEACH, FL – A woman was injured when she was run over by a deputy while lying in the sand Wednesday, according to WIFR.
Deputy Todd Brien ran over the 23-year-old victim’s right side and mid-to-upper back area with his patrol vehicle. First responders transported the victim to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities have not released the name of the victim.
