SPRING HILL, FL – One person died in a three-car crash on Southbound U.S. 19 this weekend, according to News Channel 8.
A 45-year-old driving a pickup truck failed to stop at the intersection of U.S. 19 and Pepper Street and collided with two other stopped cars, injuring an 81-year-old man in another pickup truck and a 76-year-old man in a sedan. The causing driver’s pickup flipped over and came to rest in the middle of the intersection alongside the sedan. The second pickup truck ended up in the verge on the west side of the roadway.
Local authorities reported taht the 45-year-old driver died at the scene. The 76-year-old male sustained serious injuries due to the crash, whereas the 81-year-old male suffered only minor injuries.
