TAMPA, FL – According to Tampa Bay Times, a driver fatally struck a man riding an electric skateboard on E Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd Wednesday.
The driver, an unidentified woman, was driving a Jeep Renegade east on MLK when the skateboarder, an unnamed 49-year-old male, strayed from the bicycle lane and into the path of the Renegade.
First responders were dispatched to the crash site around 6:50 p.m. They pronounced the bicyclist dead at the scene.
It is unclear exactly where on MLK the accident took place.
