SEMINOLE, FL – A driver ran a red light and fatally collided with another vehicle at Seminole Blvd and 102nd Ave N Saturday, according to Fox 13.
Brent Rozic, 49, was driving a GMC Denali pickup truck west on 102nd Ave N at excessive speeds when he drove around stopped traffic at the intersection with Seminole Blvd, ran a red light, and collided with a vehicle driven by Roger Kupsoff, 77, at around 9:40 a.m.
The collision ejected Kupsoff from his vehicle. First responders pronounced Kupsoff dead at the scene of the accident.
Authorities arrested Rozic for one count of vehicular homicide and one count of reckless driving. They believe both speed and impairment played a role in the incident.
