MANATEE COUNTY, FL – A driver was killed when his pickup truck was involved in a rollover crash in Manatee County Saturday morning, according to WWSB.
Investigators with the Florida Highway Patrol said the man was driving south on U.S. 301 near Moccasin Wallow Road when he failed to negotiate a left curve. The vehicle crashed into a concrete culvert and overturned, landing in a ditch.
The victim, a 73-year-old Spring Hill resident, was pronounced dead after being rushed to an area hospital.
