WESLEY CHAPEL, FL – The driver of a pickup truck died after his vehicle was involved in an accident in Wesley Chapel Saturday night, according to The Suncoast News.
The Florida Highway Patrol stated the victim was a 28-year-old man from Dade City who was driving south on Eiland Boulevard near Hilton Road shortly before 11 p.m. Investigators said the man was unable to negotiate a curve and drove onto the shoulder of the roadway, where the pickup overturned.
The driver was thrown from the vehicle, and was pronounced dead at the scene. The FHP said he was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
