PASCO COUNTY, FL – The Florida Highway Patrol said that an elderly man who was injured in a car crash in Pasco County February 22 has died.
According to the Tampa Bay Times, the 81-year-old man was a passenger in a car being driven by a 70-year-old Spring Hill woman on State Road 52 near U.S. 41. State troopers said the woman had an unspecified medical issue that caused her to lose control of the car and crash into a tree.
The passenger, who was transported to an area hospital, passed away from his injuries on March 14, the FHP said. His name was not released. The driver was seriously injured in the wreck.
