
TAMPA, FL – A fatal two-car collision was reported at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd and Riga Blvd Tuesday morning, Fox 13 reports.
According to troopers, a 55-year-old driver was heading west on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd when he turned left onto Riga Blvd and collided with a pickup truck.
Emergency crews responded to the crash site around 4:55 a.m. They transported the 55-year-old to an area hospital with serious injuries. He later died at the hospital from his injuries.
Both drivers were wearing seatbelts at the time of the collision.
