PASCO COUNTY, FL – State troopers say a driver was killed when his car collided with another vehicle in Pasco County Saturday morning.
According to WFLA , the accident happened on U.S. 98 near Station Hall Road. A man was driving an SUV north on U.S. 98 when he went into the southbound lanes and into the path of a pickup truck, causing a head-on crash.
The first driver’s car caught fire and he suffered fatal injuries. The victim was a 36-year-old Inverness resident whose name was not released.
A 22-year-old woman who was a passenger in the other vehicle was seriously injured, while the 53-year-old driver sustained minor injuries.
