
BROOKSVILLE, FL – Traffic was slowed in the Brooksville area Friday morning by a car accident that left the driver hospitalized, according to WFLA.
The accident happened on the Suncoast Parkway shortly before 6 a.m. A 27-year-old man was driving a Toyota northbound when he was involved in a rollover crash near the exit for Cortez Boulevard, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
The driver was taken to a hospital and was expected to survive, authorities said.
