ST. PETERSBURG, FL – A man was killed in a single-vehicle collision on I-275 south of I-175 early Sunday morning, WFLA reports.
The Florida Highway Patrol says that the 32-year-old man lost control of his vehicle near milepost 21 on southbound I-275 at about 3:40 a.m., causing it to crash through a guardrail, run down an embankment, and collide with a tree.
Emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene. He had not been wearing a seatbelt at the time.
