PINELLAS PARK, FL – A man riding a scooter was hurt when he slid the scooter on the road to avoid hitting a bus Friday, Tampa Bay Times reports.
The accident happened when James Woods, 81, was unable to slow down to avoid hitting a bus stopped near 70th Ave and 44th St N around 2:35 p.m. Woods laid down the scooter and slid on the road.
First responders transported woods to an area hospital in critical condition.
