TAMPA, FL – According to the Tampa Bay Reporter, police are searching for a hit and run driver after a motorcyclist was critically injured in a crash on I-275 on July 12th.
The crash took place around 10:19 p.m. near its intersection with I-4. The motorcyclist was traveling at a high rate of speed, passing between vehicles when he struck the rear of another vehicle. The motorcycle then hit the concrete median.
The driver of the other vehicle, a black Cadillac, did not stop and left the scene of the crash.
Police have asked anyone with information on the incident to report it to the Florida Highway Patrol.
