HUDSON, FL – A man died after his motorcycle collided with a pickup truck in Hudson Monday night, state troopers said.
The Suncoast News reports the incident occurred on State Road 52 near Chenwood Avenue shortly before 7 p.m.
The Florida Highway Patrol said the 26-year-old motorcyclist was going south on State Road 52 when his bike crashed into a pickup driven by a 74-year-old man at the intersection with Chenwood Avenue. The motorcyclist had been passing between vehicles while approaching the intersection, the FHP said.
The rider, a resident of New Port Richey, was pronounced dead at the scene.
