POLK COUNTY, FL – A man was killed in a pedestrian accident on a Polk County highway, WFLA reports.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the victim was a 27-year-old who was hit by an eastbound tractor-trailer while walking on Interstate 4 near State Road 532.
Troopers said the pedestrian, whose name was not released, was probably struck by other vehicles as well. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Anyone with information about the crash was asked to contact the Florida Highway Patrol.
