BRADENTON, FL – Authorities are searching for the driver responsible for the death of a pedestrian in Bradenton Monday morning, according to WFLA.
The victim was a 34-year-old woman who was hit while trying to cross lanes of 14th Street near Bayshore Gardens Parkway at about 6:30 a.m., the Florida Highway Patrol said. Investigators determined she was struck by a Ford F-150 Harley Davidson Edition pickup truck that was heading north at the time, and fled the scene after the crash.
The FHP has released surveillance footage of the vehicle involved in an effort to track down the driver. Anyone with information on the case was asked to contact authorities.
