BRADENTON, FL – Florida state troopers believe they have a break in the case of a pedestrian killed in a hit-and-run crash in Bradenton Monday morning, according to Fox 13 News.

Troopers in Manatee County said they think they have found the Ford pickup truck that was involved in the incident, saying it matches the description of the suspect’s vehicle.

Authorities said a tip led them to the truck that was located at 3608 16th Street West. It was impounded for further testing.
The victim of the accident, a 34-year-old woman, was trying to cross lanes of 14th Street near Bayshore Gardens Parkway at about 6:30 a.m. when she was fatally struck by a pickup that left the scene.
