PINELLAS PARK, FL – A bicycle rider was struck and seriously injured in Pinellas Park by a driver who left the scene, according to WTSP.
The bicyclist, identified as Dustin Kwilecki, was hit by a car Monday at about 4:30 a.m. on 66th Street between 62nd and 64th Avenue. He was hospitalized in critical condition.
Pinellas Park Police are now searching for the driver, who is believed to have been driving either a red 2006-2010 Chrysler 300 or a 2006-2010 Dodge Magnum. Investigators said the vehicle should have damage on the front passenger corner and is also missing the rearview mirror on that side.
Anyone with information about the crash was asked to contact the Pinellas Park Police Department.
