TAMPA, FL – A search is underway for the driver involved in a crash that injured a pedestrian in Tampa. According to the Tampa Bay Times, the man was struck Saturday on North Nebraska Avenue near the intersection with E 108th Avenue at about 12:45 p.m.
The victim, whose name was not released, was seriously injured in the accident. Police say the vehicle they are looking is a dark gray four-door Ford sedan with front end damage.
Authorities shut down a stretch of North Nebraska Avenue for the crash investigation. Anyone with information about the case is asked to contact Tampa Police.
