CLEARWATER, FL – A car accident disrupted traffic on the Courtney Campbell Causeway Wednesday morning, according to WTSP.
The crash, which occurred near the Pinellas-Hillsborough County line, shut down the highway’s westbound lanes. One car flipped over, but no serious injuries were reported.
Drivers coming from Tampa were advised to use the Howard Frankland Bridge, Gandy Bridge or Hillsborough Avenue as alternate routes while the wreckage was being cleared.
The westbound lanes reopened later in the morning.
