PASCO COUNTY, FL – Authorities say two people died following a collision involving an SUV and a motorcycle on U.S. Highway 19 early Thursday morning, WTSP reports.
The Florida Highway Patrol said the accident happened near the intersection with Bolton Avenue in Pasco County at about 12:18 a.m. According to state troopers, a man driving a Jeep Grand Cherokee southbound on U.S. 19 made a left hand turn and entered the path of a motorcycle that was heading north.
The SUV driver, a 28-year-old resident of Hudson, and a 37-year-old Spring Hill man riding the motorcycle both sustained fatal injuries. Their names have not yet been released. A male who was a passenger in the Jeep was critically injured.
