
PINELLAS COUNTY, FL – State troopers say a 65-year-old motorcycle rider died following a crash in Pinellas County on Saturday.
According to the Tampa Bay Reporter , the woman was riding in the area of County Road and Grey Oaks Boulevard when the accident happened at about 5:22 p.m.
Investigators determined that she failed to make a right turn from CR 611 onto Grey Oaks. The motorcycle struck a median curb and a median wall, and the woman was thrown from the bike.
The victim, a Tarpon Springs resident whose name was not released, was pronounced dead on Sunday at an area hospital.
