
PLANT CITY, FL – The driver of a tractor-trailer was injured when the vehicle was involved in an accident on Interstate 4 in Plant City, according to WFLA.
Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene at the I-4 exit for Alexander Street just before 6:30 on Thursday morning. The FHP stated the driver was going too fast while traveling on the exit ramp and was unable to negotiate a curve.
The semi overturned and crashed into a concrete barrier wall, leaving the truck driver with minor injuries.
The exit ramp was shut down for about three hours while authorities were working the scene.
