LAKELAND, FL – The 10-month-old infant injured in a car crash Tuesday has passed away, according to ABC Action News.

According to Lakeland Police, a driver of a stolen car hit a Nissan Altima head-on during a police chase just after midnight on Tuesday. The female driver of the Altima and her infant were airlifted to Lakeland Regional Hospital for critical injuries.
The mother’s current condition is unknown.
The suspect, Stephen Marra, was also taken to the hospital for injuries.
